ABSTRACT
This chapter will address the different types of EOC design. There are many factors to consider when designing an EOC including the type and size of the organization/agency we well as requirements and regulations. The designs and layouts reviewed are Training/Multipurpose, Multipurpose cluster, Horseshoe, Stadium/Theater, Collaboration, and Iris. The authors provide the positive aspects of each design while aknowleging the its limitations. Based on the needs of the agency, one design may be more beneficial than another.
