ABSTRACT
The Bohemians are human beings. This is hardly a startling conclusion, but it is one that is necessary to reiterate. They are not freaks. They are individuals with the same needs, hopes, fears, and foibles as the rest of mankind. They are not “islands unto themselves”; they have the need common to all of us for others with whom to communicate.
