Sam Abrams’ books include The Old Pothead Poems and The Neglected Walt Whitman—an attempt to focus attention on shameful omissions in the Library of America’s so-called Complete Poetry of Whitman, which omits, inter alia multa, a poem loved and admired by Doc Williams, Auden and Zukofsky.
