ABSTRACT

“…we as black political scientists bear the responsibility of clearly and brutally unraveling the devious ways in which the American political system serves to exploit the many for the benefit of the few. Just as conventional American political science takes ‘maintaining a stable commonwealth’ as a point of beginning, black political scientists must begin with the need to subvert that order. It is our responsibility to reinforce the legitimacy of the liberation struggle here and the struggles of other oppressed peoples throughout the world and to suggest viable models for that struggle and to give theoretical tools to those who would be cadres of the movement.”—Mack H.
