ABSTRACT
This example is from the grade expectations of the students in an introductory course in mathematical psychology given in the fall of 1959, the summer of 1960, and the fall of 1961. This is an elementary course required of all the graduate students in psychology at The University of Michigan who are not planning to do any further work in mathematical psychology. Students interested in mathematical psychology skip this course and begin with a more technical one.
