ABSTRACT

The observed disparity might indicate either an error of the search engines while providing figures based on probability of association, or, more plausibly, it would point to a more developed and established online literature about the Armenian Genocide. Comparative importance of search engines is a critical point. The generalized belief that Google is omnipresent and is the most influential of the search engines had to be checked with a more factual and up-to-date analysis. The spam problem disrupts the ease of use of search engines, the most suitable gateways to the Internet's riches. Studying electronic texts on the Internet makes it possible to quickly and deeply cover occurrences of the researched subject all over the world, including even the remotest places. In the printed world, in contrast, it would be certainly unrealistic to expect somebody to cover absolutely all published media, including, those in distant cities of a Chinese province or in Eastern Europe.
