ABSTRACT
I am disappointed by the negativity following our decision to leave the European Union. Rather than seeing this as a major opportunity, the doom mongers have told us that we face a bleak future. My view is that nothing could be further from the truth, and our historic links with Commonwealth states provide us with a unique opportunity to take control of our own destiny and cement our relationship between historic partners.
