ABSTRACT

The premise of third-generation crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED) is that a sustainable green urban environment is perceived by its members, as well as outsiders, as "safe." Focus on sustainable, green environmental design strategies and insist on practical measures that foster the perception of urban space as safe. Elements of third-generation CPTED: addresses energy crisis, urban pollution, recycling, and minimizing waste, reprograming the physical space and material, based on consumption, online services, and cyberfunctionality, going "green", natural energy as a power source, solar lighting and solar closed-circuit television cameras, reprograming the urban space, urban-scale green and green spac, and Design strategies.
