ABSTRACT
The conclusion synthesizes the preceding chapters. It identifies common themes among the chapters, explicates new theoretical concepts, and pinpoints areas for future scholarship. Finally, the conclusion explains that character assassination can benefit society by exploring antidotes to incivility and misinformation.
