ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the Tricontinental was documented at every stage, and the propaganda measures that were taken to disseminate its message to the world. Though people can watch brief clips of the conference on YouTube, these have only reemerged recently and were not part of the material that could be easily disseminated worldwide. The most successful form of propaganda achieved by the Tricontinental was its famous posters. Many of the posters were used on the covers of the Tricontinental magazine or disseminated full-size by being loosely tipped inside, and you can sometimes find them tucked within individual issues. Nonaligned Movement was therefore the first Tricontinental international political organization of leaders not just from Africa and Asia but from the entire non-Western world, the three continents of the South. Roger Faligot has recently provided a comprehensive account of what he calls the saga of the Tricontinental.
