ABSTRACT
An inquiry web provides the scaffolding for exploring the complexity of Bill Doll's scholarship as the scholarly connects with the personal and engages through the spirit of Doll. The web offers connections and dynamic interplay while maintaining a focus on the man, beyond the works, to engage in continued thinking and connecting with the ideas represented by the body of his scholarly productivity. The inquiry web is an attempt to stay focused on the complex story of a life and spirit that lives through and with Bill's body of intellectual products, but comes alive when the person is part of the story. Each octant of the web can be interpreted as connected to its opposite through the Mysterium Tremendum of Bill Doll while the body itself, like a complex web, reveals hidden connections and relationships across, between, and among inquiry spaces.
