ABSTRACT

The gas-discharge visualization (GDV) device is based on the stimulation of photon and electron emissions from an object when it is placed in an electromagnetic field and subjected to brief electrical pulses. Electrophotonic technology provides a convenient and user-friendly method to assess patients with a wide range of issues and can also be utilized to assess responses to drugs, meditation, stress reduction therapy, and other interventions. Electrophotonic technique became an invaluable diagnostic tool in Russian Olympic and Paralympic sports. The advantages of the electrophotonic imaging (EPI) technique include ease of use, noninvasive application, and very short time for analysis. The electrophotonic parameters are determined by the emission activity of the surface layer of the liquid, which depends on the presence of surface-active valences. The EPI method is being used to test various drinking waters having similar chemical composition.
