ABSTRACT
Forensic art represents a multidisciplinary endeavour and includes expertise in pen and ink drawing, sculpting, psychology, 2D and 3D digital image processing and rendering and human anatomy. The resultant images produced by an artist may be used in criminal and civil investigations and in a court of law or arbitration hearings. The handling of forensic art materials and work product as evidentiary materials begins upon formal request.
