ABSTRACT
In the introduction the editors provide an overview of previous research on methodological aspects in translation and interpreting studies, highlighting its developments, themes, and patterns. Differences between approaches to and understandings of methodology in publications focusing on translation research (including the present volume) are briefly addressed, and this introductory chapter then provides a description of the structure and contents of the volume.
