ABSTRACT
The accelerated development and use of technology has greatly changed the professional practice of school psychology, and as a result there are ethical and legal considerations unique to the use of technology in practice. This chapter will discuss a variety of uses for technology, including communication, assessment and scoring, and training purposes. Ethical and legal issues, such as professional competency to use technology or proper protection and removal of confidential files, will be discussed.
