ABSTRACT
Teleconsultation is the process of providing consultative services through telecommunication technology, specifically via videoconferencing. In recent years, teleconsultation has been used effectively with teachers and paraprofessionals in special and general education settings. This chapter will provide an overview of teleconsultation as it pertains to school consultation with teachers, paraprofessionals, school staff (including related service providers), parents, and other stakeholders. The chapter will also provide details on teleconsultation applications across assessment, intervention, and staff training, as well as general implementation guidelines and recommendations.
