ABSTRACT

New technology is continually developing, and researchers and practitioners have endeavored to utilize these technologies to improve data collection, data-based decision-making, and intervention efficacy within school settings. Further, technology has been utilized within school settings as a means of improving access to evidence-based serviced and multiply the ability of school psychologists to engage in assessment and intervention services. This chapter will describe the use of technology for both assessment and intervention for academic and behavior concerns. Implications of recent technological developments are described, as well as considerations that must be made by practitioners considering the adoption of technology-based assessment and intervention tools.
