ABSTRACT

The national economy is a unified entity. The various sectors of the national economy are closely related. The relations among the various sectors of the national economy are objective proportional relations expressed in quantitative terms. The concrete application of the balance method is the formulation of various balance tables, the determination of various plan targets through these balance tables and the determination of the mutual relations among these various targets. Under the socialist system, the production of the social product is still realized in two forms: a physical form, a value form or money form. Insofar as the physical form is concerned, it is a form that must accompany any social production. The major item in the "sources" section is the output of the product in the plan period. The socialist plan is established on the basis of using domestic resources first.
