ABSTRACT

Directing their service at the rural areas and units at the grassroots level, the medical workers of the Chinese People's Liberation Army are wholeheartedly serving the workers, peasants, and soldiers. They have thus made important contributions in the struggle to carry out and defend Chairman Mao's proletarian line in medical and health work. Armed with Chairman Mao's great theory of continuing the revolution under the dictatorship of the proletariat, the medical workers have constantly heightened their consciousness of class struggle and the struggle between the two lines, and their spirit is vigorous and militant. Directing their attention to the rural areas and the organizations at the grassroots level, the army medical workers have treated and cured a number of difficult diseases formerly regarded as "forbidden zones" in treatment, thus scaling one peak after another in medical technique.
