ABSTRACT

Classrooms and venues should allow participants to easily move into groups and return to their positions for presentation. The size of the group may be adjusted downward depending on the size of the room. Rooms suited for individuals with varying physical disabilities would be ideal. Participants may be permitted to use cell phones to complete the group activity. Participants should be asked to put away cell phones during presentations. Instructor will implement strategies to encourage thought and discussion. Before each presentation group members should be asked to talk about the process involved in selecting their songs and why the songs were selected. The instructor will inform students that an important component of the class is the ability to listen to each group’s presentation.
