ABSTRACT
Students will form groups for a presentation focusing on a specific career-related issue/concern in relation to an underserved/underrepresented population of their choice. Groups will conduct 30–45 minute presentations and create a two-page handout detailing specific career issues, concerns, and challenges of this population and will provide local resources connected to that population. Students should then focus on a specific career-related issue/concern in relation to this population. Students should then conduct research on this career issue/concern connecting to academic journal articles, appropriate career counseling theories, and local and national resources and statistics. Finally, groups should create a two-page handout detailing the specific career issue(s), concern(s), and challenge(s) in regard to this population and will provide local and national resources connected to that population.
