ABSTRACT
Despite technological achievements, material gains and advances in productivity, mankind is living through times of uncertainty and insecurity in an age when concepts, attitudes and values are being redefined. This reconceptualization is revealed in the organization of territories, which thus come to be perceived and consumed in a different way from that of pre modem or even modem societies.
