Instructional design training as instruction

This chapter explores the theories and applications of adult learning, as well as performance based instruction and learning within organizations. Trainers will be able to identify the major principles of adult learning, and transfer best practices from instructional communication scholarship to the workplace training environment. This chapter allows communication consultants, coaches, teachers, and trainers to integrate effective and appropriate instructional design while creating and delivering impactful training materials.
