This chapter examines Asia-to-Asia migration policy gaps, especially in relation to the challenges faced by migrant workers, and presents suggestions on how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide guidance to address these issues. It also examines various scholars' publications to address the issues of migrant safety, security and income. The chapter provides an examination of discussions surrounding the SDGs and how these relate to the challenges faced by migrant workers. South-South migration brings specific human security concerns, and two groups which require specific attention are female domestic workers and irregular migrants. The chapter focuses on working and living conditions faced by migrant workers in developing Asian destination countries. It highlights the message of the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development regarding the importance of recognizing the positive contribution of migrants to inclusive growth and sustainable development, in destination countries.
