Using the long-running and multifaceted research project Colony as a series of jumping-off points, artist Nikki Pugh outlines underlying approaches towards empirical knowledge production through her inquiry-led practice. Sculptural devices combine physical computing, body-awareness, and performance to act as experience-based prompts for insight, conversations, and reflection.
