ABSTRACT
A suspended computer operator who worked for a communications company entered a number of unauthorized commands, taking 32 tape drives off-line. The following morning, the company found that it was unable to serve its customers.
Hostility between two employee factions in a laboratory led to incidents in which individuals poured a strong adhesive on partially assembled components of sensitive electronic machines. Each time this occurred, it took the laboratory a day and a half to repair the damage.
