This chapter discusses soundLINCS programmes and developmental musical projects within the sector, including private voluntary and independent settings (PVI), children’s centres, childminder groups and maintained settings. Through successful funding applications and deeply rooted partnerships soundLINCS will describe how programmes were developed and adapted to suit changing circumstances within the sector. A research study conducted in partnership with Bishop Grosseteste University examined the impact of soundLINCS’ early years programmes and an overview from this work will be included here.
