ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts of the concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of the book. The book is a good example of meta-relational phenomenon, since each chapter presents a way of experiencing public relations, from the point of view of content and approach, and from a theoretical and practical point of view. In spite of the multiplicity of philosophers and thinkers who have dealt with otherness, there is one whose proposal and approach to the subject seems to be very adequate when it comes to critically summarizing the contents of the book. The epilogue assesses what has been said in the pages that precede it, following the same approach that Martin Buber made through his example of the ways of relating to a tree. Many prominent writers have acknowledged its influence on their work; students of intellectual history consider it a landmark; and the generation born after the Second World War considers Buber one of its prophets.
