ABSTRACT

Obviously, resilience work should be introduced in schools. This is where society, through professionals, connects with all children and youth. In the first section of this chapter, a pedagogue describes his first experiences of applying The Resilience Programme in a classroom course and in a course for a group of boys with special needs. Following this, the work done with resilience by teachers in two other primary schools is described. The schools are located in two very different residential areas – a socially disadvantaged area and a well-off area where there are a growing number of vulnerable pupils, worried parents and a stressful working environment.
