ABSTRACT
Inside Anno’s Mysterious Multiplying Jar amazing things happen. The text and pictures combine to present a lesson on the concept of factorials, from the concrete to the abstract. This astonishing mathematical relationship, which occurs in many things and events, is illustrated using simple images. Inside the mysterious jar, objects are arranged in an ordered mathematical fashion to develop this numerical pattern. Anno shows us using dots and mathematics how the jars are multiplied.
