ABSTRACT
The increased demand placed on public health departments and healthcare organizations to perform better and improve health outcomes with less funding cannot be achieved under the design and operation of the current system. In this chapter, community health is defi ned as having a focus on geographical/ community areas rather than people with shared health characteristics.
