ABSTRACT
3Dimerce developed a configurator for Leolux called "Creator." The configuration starts at the product detail page as a limited version with only a couple of choices in terms of model formation, material, and colors. The centralized virtual repository is a kind of virtual showroom of real-life product selection, storing all product models, materials, colors, and configuration intelligence at one location in the cloud. Currently 3Dimerce is experimenting with Google Tango. Based on the same virtual assets, products can be easily placed into a real environment with this new Augmented Reality technique. 3Dimerce approach any project by separating the project process from the product process. Besides the option of making an appointment with a nearby dealer, the Creator offers a share functionality that allows users to share their created Leolux design on social media or via email. Users can also save and download their design, after making a MyLeolux account.
