ABSTRACT

In the summer of 2015, Guillermina De Ferrari asked seven experts in Latin American literary studies for brief responses to the following three questions:

Assuming that there is a field called “Latin American comparative literature,” what are its critical and theoretical concerns?

What is the contribution of comparative literature to the field of Latin American literary studies?

What is the contribution of Latin American literature and criticism either to new critical and theoretical paradigms or to the formation of new corpora?
