ABSTRACT
The government policy that outlines the responsibilities of the HUMCs provides a long list of what is expected of the HUMCs. The listed functions are quite numerous, and some of them require technical competence. There are four major categories of functions:
1. To monitor general administration of the health center on behalf of the local council and the Ministry of Local Government within the policy and guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
