ABSTRACT
The Roman lawyer, politician and philosopher Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 bc) ranks among the major Latin classics of literature. His influence on the Western tradition, philosophy, and theology, as well as language cannot be overestimated. The following discussion presents an outline of the influence which Cicero had on Søren Kierkegaard.
