ABSTRACT
Throughout his work Kierkegaard’s concept of admiration is applied fairly consistently, albeit with slight nuances basically in line with the different figures that might be admired. The greatest distinction in application is between (1) admiration of Christ and (2) admiration of a particular (merely) human being.
