ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a discussion of transnationalism in the Bosnian Diaspora in the United States. i draw distinctions between mainstream Bosnians and two other categories: urban cosmopolites and supporters of the autonomy movement led by Fikret Abdić. i begin with a brief analysis of the Bosnian influx in historical perspective.
