ABSTRACT
Of course, the different roles in and around projects carry different responsibilities. The suggested steps to ‘get started’ are therefore structured in these different roles. The main roles in and around projects, project manager and project sponsor, are derived from the analysis in paragraph 4.2, but three new roles are added: project management office (PMO) leader, project user and portfolio manager. These roles are added because they are also very well positioned to influence the sustainability aspects of projects.
