ABSTRACT
An exploration of housing in Thames Gateway reveals the difculty in imagining that there is a discernible housing project taking shape across this vast region that has been marked out and labelled as the Thames Gateway. What is also clear is that across this disparate space, a number of housing projects have sprung up often on watersides or browneld sites and these schemes are contributing to meeting the now urgent government targets for more housing.
