ABSTRACT
At the end of my paper on 'The Folk-tales and Ancient Pagan Religion of the Georgians', which appeared in the last number of The Quest, I ventured to state that: in the beliefs of the Georgian people St. George [Giorgi] occupies the place of the ancient Georgian national chief paean deity - the Moon.
