ABSTRACT

Within the relatively short period of this conference devoted to Mok‘c‘evay k‘art‘Iisay [literally "The Conversion of Georgia'], there will naturally be no opportunity to consider all the innumerable aspects of our topic. The choice of title, "The Place of Jerusalem in Mok‘c‘evay k'art'lisay," deliberately avoids a series of problems that would prove difficult to dismiss. Nevertheless, we will give some reasons here why this topic was chosen.
