ABSTRACT
The 1991 Mercosur Trade Agreement involves a group of nations in Latin America’s South Cone (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, with the latter addition of Chile and Bolivia), geographically contiguous, with similar historical and cultural dimensions, but, at the same time, with deep diversities in social and economic life.
