ABSTRACT
By and large, the realistic and potential uses of research findings, of work with human genotypes, and of innovations that could give rise to new knowledge in the field of biotechnology are known. Specifically in the area of human biotechnology, the focus falls mainly on the two areas that have the most significance for humankind: health (diagnostic procedures and medical treatment) and reproduction, which is sometimes related to a couple’s or an unborn child’s health problems.
