ABSTRACT

Most organisations have an intranet. Intranets can be used for a variety of purposes, for example, storing documents, sharing ideas, completing work tasks. However when you ask people who use these intranets how good they are you will often hear of dissatisfaction, frustration and disappointment with their experience. Why is that, after all intranets have been around for 20 years? Surely, it should be straightforward by now to get it right.
