ABSTRACT
There is a major internet crime wave under way around the world: phishing. This means duping consumers into divulging financial information using spoof websites (Anderiesz 2004). In non-cool, un-hacker terms, phishing involves sending out spam e-mails to try and tempt unwary consumers into visiting the fraudster’s website.
