The Sugar Islands A/ec Waugh 1958 A mixed collection of pieces about the West Indies which Waugh had written for magazines and books between 1928 and 1953. He did not update his material for this book, saying that 'the whole point of a travel book is that it should be dated'. Waugh had travelled much in the West Indies and his essays on the various islands are well worth reading.
