ABSTRACT
The relationship between international migration and development intuitively seems promising but empirically is difficult to prove. Nevertheless, among the policy community there is consensus that migration could support development in origin countries, destination countries and for migrants themselves, if migration policies focused more on co-development and regularized flows of people.
