ABSTRACT

By working through the design decisions presented in this book, we hope that researchers have developed confidence in their ability to conduct methodologically congruent studies to answer questions about the objects of interest in online talk. In this chapter we bring together the entire framework by working through one example to demonstrate its comprehensive alignment. We revisit how insight, transformation, and learning were identified through studies of online talk by exploring findings from selected examples. We propose areas for future methodological innovation in the analysis of online talk, and close with some final recommendations for researchers.
