ABSTRACT
This chapter reviews the literature on online learning in the community college setting, focusing on patterns of student online course-taking, student performance in online vs. face-to-face courses, and factors affecting online course performance. It concludes with recommendations that can reshape the way that organizations are organized, including the role of faculty.
