ABSTRACT
This chapter presents an overview of the technologies that shape and shift recent trends and directions in continuing professional education (CPE). The authors present related research and discuss how online learning in CPE has evolved in a variety of fields, and they identify benefits as well as hidden issues for organizations, practitioners, and professionals.
